When Mummy is in Manchester

I'm now in a mood to update my blog with tons of post.... Hohoho xD Mummy is following me to Manchester this time. So i bring her to have a walk in Manchester City Centre.

 My favourite place ever in Manchester - China Town.

 Primark - where you can get a pair of shoes for only 3 pounds.. And 2 pounds in rare occasion.

Mummy's cooking is always the best! Although is the same dish, but i always can't cook the same taste like what my mum did. By the way, she had cooked Bak Kut Teh, curry chicken and some 凉茶 during the time being in Manchester. ♥

Welcome Meal

Aloha!!!! Long time no see!!!!! =D Hmm.... How are you guys doing?? I'm finally back to the lovely-weather Manchester three weeks ago.... Hope you guys have been doing well for the previous weeks and also the coming one..... Hohoho =)

Keep rushing for visa application and air ticket, just hope that i can catch up with the welcome programme by my university - Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). Finally - i did it! Reached at Wednesday and welcome meal was at that day. Only problem is the bus seating might be insufficient. But luckily there's still had some extra seats and i got it. *Imma lucky gal......*

Journey to the event location is actually half an hour. *For your info, MMU has two campus and we are now going to another campus for this meal.* But there was an accident half way, so ended up using two hours to reach there. I didn't really know anything about the accident because i was way too tired and fall asleep.... JETLAG!!! I just heard the guy sat beside me mentioned about it. I was shock when i woke up and realize it's already two hours!!

OK!! Reached there and have a drink first.... They always get their drinks from the bar provided - either beer or soft drink... I didn't get anything and i dislike the tap water here... Everyone in UK drinks tap water but i will filter it first for hygiene purpose. Hohoho... Can't get the food first so everyone is either having a beer or soft drinks. Start to get our food at about 8 o'clock.... I was starving but eating less because the food wasn't that nice.

Below are pictures when the activities were going on. The UNI provided activities so that we can make more new friends. Mostly dancing around with particular tempo and dancing steps. There will be someone teaching you on the stage and playing music.

It seems kinda fun so i started to join for the second and third dancing. And YES - it's really fun! Just dance and say HI when you changed a new partner. =) Well, a different style of orientation and welcome programme. Ended at 10p.m. sharp and reach home at 11p.m. Mum is following me to Manchester too so i asked her to come down and open the door for me.... Hehehehe♥

Before to Manchester...

Just get to have a post before i leave the food paradise - so called Malaysia... 很久没有来了....因为我很懒惰...也不知到为什么会懒到这样....明明就是每天开电脑可是死都不要来update下.... o.o 就是要离开了才来update一下酱.... XD 一样会一天一天讲一下酱啦,可是会skip掉在家的那几天... 现在才发现自己其实回来没有三个星期,而是两个星期多而已....原来我报大数了...... LOL 好像在安慰自己酱.....XD

*上次是讲到星期五,而且是已经一个礼拜了... 0.0*

星期日 : 跟Clarinetist出去,有YiChan, WanYi, HongFeng and HuiLi....先去bookfair走走....越来越不好走了...人又多到死,一直在那边挡路....结果就很塞,然后一直讲"Excuse me,excuse me"... =.= 很烦!!一个两个迟到!!!!而且换时间没有跟我讲.... 所以我就坐在Starbucks等他们.....  Nothing much to say, i always enjoy being with them! =D

星期一 : 拿到成绩了...就去做visa...因为九月很多人开学,所以很多人会去做visa...明明就是等一百个人罢了,不懂做么可以等到四五个小时....又累又饿又想睡觉.... @.@ 然后还要上去印手指印的...那边就等了两个小时....那天就浪费了我八个小时.... @.@ Parking fee总共是RM24....如果那些可爱的马来人再慢一点,我搞不好那天会在那边过夜!!!!

星期二 : 先回学校....找June给他H&M的衣服....然后看下班上的人....遇到倪子杰老师还有岑雁如老师....就聊了一下天这样....之后就跟Jiajia,SiawLing,YingYin和建和去Pavilion.. 看Final Destination 5.... OK OK下...也没有自己想象的恐怖啦..... 然后走走下,就去Levain吃晚餐...算是第一次去...买了Macaroon给妈妈吃....之后,因为我的关系,我们又去pasar malam走一下...之后他们就回家,然后我就去找妈妈....照片可以去Jiajia的Facebook找....我很懒copy and paste.... xP

星期三 : 亲戚结婚....晚上就有喜酒喝....有钱果然就是不一样...前一天是请那些政商名流去的...结果爸爸被叫去不懂做什么东西....回来跟我们讲Lee Chong Wei有去...可以以后如果有他的话就叫我去吗? OK其实还有很多人的 - 比如Najib, 不知到哪一洲的Sultan和很多人...But我的重点是Lee Chong Wei罢了... LOL 他的喜酒很美啦....而且也很感动下....整个布置到很像海边的feel....我喜欢..... xD 而且开场超可爱 HAHAHAHAHA

星期五 : 和Jiajia去Taylor's找佩恩....因为她有Service Class,然后请我们去...可是食物要自己给钱的.... xP 食物还OK啦....只是dessert连佩恩都讲很disgusting..... HAHAHA 她的朋友一直玩她....很搞笑下....结果她还是很认真,很Professional酱.... LOL 之后,就跟Jiajia去Sunway乱走来浪费时间..... 顺便看戏.... HEHEHE

星期六 : 和YoongWei, June和MunCheng去Sunway Giza的Poco - 一个我很喜欢的地方.... =D妈妈载我去学校先,之后再坐YoongWei的车去....再次看到WanYi...这次我们有拍照!!! =D 我们就吹水咯,吃东西咯...之后,谢谢YoongWei载我回家....是的,我知道我家很远.... xD

星期一 : 去拿visa....我觉得应该感谢这个visa,我才可以在Malaysia过中秋节....也可以在Malaysia留多两天.... =D

星期二 : 现在妈妈煮着晚餐.....之后要去机场了.....0.0 Should say BYE and face the fact that i'm going to back to the lovely-weather-Manchester.

From Manchester, To Malaysia [One Week Journal]

Hello Malaysia, hello everyone... Finally - yes, like FINALLY - after five months in Manchester, I'm now back to Malaysia. Miss my family, miss the food, miss everything... Malaysia is a food heaven compare to  Manchester, always.... =) So i love Malaysia much!!!! And Malaysia is full of my friends..... ♥

One week journal start from below - the first day that i back to Malaysia until today....

Thursday : Reach KLIA at about 2p.m. Long journey from Manchester... Can't sleep in the plane.... I think is because of the mocha that i drank before i board - or - excited! xD Eat out with family for dinner! Malaysia's food always the best!

Friday : Have a hair cut for myself.. Then back to Chong Hwa... Meet friends and have 老海猪肠粉..... ♥ Manchester don't have this!! And i miss this food much!!! MUCH!!!!!! Dinner at home for today.... =D

Saturday : Outings with Jiajia, PhuiAnn, Vincious Melon and KuaiZhi.... The first time i met them after i back from Manchester. Miss them much! And finally, we can say "Hi" with each other face to face rather than using Skype!

Sunday : Went out to Bukit Bintang and have dinner with family... Bought some long sleeves shirt at Uniqlo for preparation of the coming winter in Manchester. ♥ P/S: I woke up at 2 noon this day!! 0.0

Monday : Out to Sunway for stationery shopping because stationery is expensive in Manchester. Meet up with PhuiAnn, Vincious Melon and KuaiZhi for later YoongWei's brother wedding dinner... =) We played with the scarf that bought by my mum, also known as Magic Scarf.... xP

Tuesday to Thursday : At home for the whole day with my Mac.... =) I nearly wake up at about 11 morning every day since the day i'm back, except Sunday.... 0.0 Luckily my mum wake me up everyday then only i won't sleep till 1 or 2 noon.....

Friday : Went to Pavilion to meet up with SweeMeng to give her the Gucci Bag.... Bought some nice outfit at Fahrenheit 88.. Nice and cheap!! Love!!! ♥ Have Bak Kut Teh as lunch today!!! And i love the Tokyo Street in Pavilion..... xD By the way, i get my result for my exam today.... Like a piece of SHIT!!! I'm not satisfied with my result!! I think my parents do feel a little disappointed of me.... @.@

Will go to market tomorrow morning with mum. I will try to wake up at 7 morning... Try to wake up as morning as i can these days. Then outings with Clarinetists! ♥ Meet me up at book fair if you want! =D

Malaysia Night, Malaysia Food

在这里五个月了...还有18天就可以回家... =) ♥暂时那段在家的时间,妈妈可以不用那么早醒来跟我Skype or晚上迟迟睡觉....然后爸爸讲 - 可以不用打越洋电话了... Oh YEA!!! 可是还是得考完可恶的年终考.... @.@

上个星期五,在同学的邀约下,终于有Malaysia Food可以吃...虽然一开始听到是很开心,可是还是会有所顾虑...因为你会想说 - 到底好不好吃...到底有没有Malaysia Feel在里面.... 一起搭taxi去...到了那边,第一眼看到的Malaysia Flag就感觉好熟悉....因为去到那边已经很迟了,所以大家很饿,所以就快快order....

一翻开menu,就很有冲动想要order完里面的食物...Order完之后,在等待的当儿就吹水...不久Starter就来了...我们的Starter有 - Satay, Indian Rojak and Sotong Goreng.吃完Starter后,我对于接下来的食物很期待...因为Starter就已经很好吃了..... xD

Main dishes来了....我们有order - Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang, Maggi Goreng, Nasi Goreng Kampung and Nasi Lemak Lamb.....我们开始吃第一口,全部人都融化了.....因为真的很好吃... Original Malaysia Taste!!!!椰浆饭很好很好吃..... Ayam Rendang完全就是那种马来人煮那样的.... OK...我不知到是不是这样形容, and我现在形容词词穷...所以我真的不知到要怎样描述....或许这真的就是好吃到非笔墨所能形容的感觉...就是很好吃啦!!!搞不好好吃过马来西亚一些地方的Nasi Lemak...真的不是开玩笑..... Maggi Goreng也很好吃!!!! =)

啊!!!!忘记讲我们的drinks.... Teh-O-Ais-Limau and Teh-O-Ais.... 我的是Teh-O-Ais-Limau...唯一比较不好喝的就是这个了....很不Original.... 可是已经够了...但还是不够填补四个月对于Malaysia Food的空虚........ 还有那个老板是马来西亚人来的... From Seremban and他的老婆from Klang..... 就大家Chit-chat了一下....熟悉的感觉....... =D

一踏出门口,就好像是从梦中醒来,回到现实生活酱...因为天气的关系...... @.@多么希望自己可以留在店里面不要出来....回到家到第二天早上醒来还是很饱....而且我的早餐是打包的Maggi Goreng...因为吃不完就打包回家.... Eheheheee =)应该可以算是我在这边最最最满足的一餐.......
